Initially we paired of to interview each other finding out about each other and to brake the ice.We then presented that information to the rest of the group.
This was useful as an introduction to interviewing technique and building confidence.
We looked at variuos methods at researching past and present considering the advantages in accessing information needed to make up presentations.After choosing a local subject to research and present as a power point exercise we went out with digital cameras to obtain images we could use as well as using search engines to find additional images to add to my file.This was particullarly useful as my chosen subject was the town hall and obtaining photos of the interior was difficult as most of the hall was in use.
Although I found today interesting it also revealed to me that I need to spend more time becoming more familiar with using co0mputers as my knowledge is somewhat limited.
Today we started to add more to our blogs.Starting with the pictures I took yesterday,we have two that I had taken of views from either end of the hall illustrating the grand looking archertechture.
To do this I had to add the pictures to the text and decide where they were to appear and size.
